make-a.click supports widgets that turn links and content into visual profile elements.

Instead of only adding plain links, users can add supported URLs that become rich widgets on their public profile, such as YouTube or Spotify links, alongside countdown setups and custom photo catalogs.

Essentials widgets include:

- Title widget
- Countdown widget
- Event widget
- Image widget

Additional widgets and widget types are under continuous development.

## Customization & Architecture

make-a.click profiles are designed to be customizable without requiring technical skills, backed by a robust system architecture:
- **Tech Stack**: Next.js (App Router with dynamic server components), TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, MySQL.
- **Security & Integrity Protocols**: Integrated Cloudflare Turnstile CAPTCHA, automated age-restriction checks based on IP geolocations, and strict zero-tolerance NSFW filters with reporting at `legal@make-a.click`.

## Analytics and Privacy

make-a.click is built with European data protection expectations in mind (fully compliant with GDPR Art. 6 legal processing bases: Contract performance, Legal obligation, Legitimate interests, and Consent).

## Public profile endpoints

Public profiles use the following URL patterns:

Profile owners can disable Markdown or embed access for their profile. If an endpoint is unavailable, disabled, blocked, or returns an error, respect that response.

make-a.click supports user registration via `POST /api/auth/register` with a 6-digit email confirmation verification, alongside a two-stage password recovery process (`POST /api/auth/reset-password`).
